The Minnesota Lynx, a team that won four WNBA Championships in 2011, 2013, 2015, and 2017, could now be looking to replicate their success from the previous decade.

Last season was a significant step forward for them. The Lynx went 19-21 and secured a postseason spot, but lost in the first round to the Connecticut Sun.

It surprised many who felt that last season would've been a rebuilding year for Minnesota, especially with the legendary Sylvia Fowles retiring in 2022.

This upcoming summer will be significant for the Lynx as they pick up the pieces to form a new dynasty in the Twin Cities.

Offseason

The Minnesota Lynx were the most active team this past offseason.

They made several big free agency moves by signing Courtney Williams and Alanna Smith to multi-year deals.

The Lynx also drafted 6'2 forward Alissa Pili out of Utah with the No.8 overall pick.

Pili has proven to be solid during her time at Utah, averaging 21.4 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. She was a former Pac-12 Player of the Year and has an impressive offensive skill set, as well as being an excellent rebounder for her size.

Regular Season

The Lynx do have one of the best players in the WNBA, Napheesa Collier. She is an All-WNBA performer and has proven to be one of the best in the league.

However, the question is what pieces are needed to surround Collier with?

Diamond Miller and Dorka Juhasz will be entering year two and should take massive steps forward in their young WNBA Careers.

Minnesota has some solid depth in the backcourt, bringing in Courtney Williams and Natisha Hiedeman.

Kayla McBride and Bridget Carleton should also prove to be effective wings who can both space the floor and play some defense.
