Reports indicate that the following was taped on Tuesday night for the episode of WWE SmackDown that's set to air this Friday, March 7 from Detroit, Mich. as the WWE continues to build towards WrestleMania XXX at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.

In the main event of the evening, The Big Show and Daniel Bryan defeated Kane and Batista in a tag team match after Show hit Kane with the knockout punch and Bryan rolled him up. Prior to the match, Show and Bryan revealed that their team name was "Respect the Beard, Fear the Giant." The show ended with Bryan leading a "YES!" chant from atop Show's shoulders.
The match was set up in the opening segment when Batista came out to open SmackDown and was interrupted by Bryan. Kane then came out and beat down Bryan until The Big Show made the save. Vickie Guerrero then announced the tag match main event.

The rift in The Shield was addressed as the trio cut a promo together discussing how they needed to be united again and be The Shield that they used to be. Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose ended up hitting each other until they made up and the trio had a reunion.
In other action, Christian defeated Dolph Ziggler after Alberto Del Rio, who was doing commentary, distracted Ziggler and Del Rio later lost to Sheamus via a Brogue Kick.
Elsewhere on the program, The Usos defeated Ryback and Curtis Axel while Eva Marie and Natalya defeated A.J. Lee and Tamina Snuka after Natalya made Lee tap out to the Sharpshooter.
Big E was in action and defeated Jack Swagger, who once again had problems with Antonio Cesaro.
This episode of SmackDown focused mainly on the Bryan and Kane struggle while it also delved into the friction within The Shield and The Real Americans. Notably left off the program were WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton and The Wyatt Family.
