WWE Hall of Fame 2014 rumors [VIDEO]: Sean 'X-Pac' Waltman says he will induct Scott Hall into HOF on the eve of WrestleMania XXX

It has been rumored for a couple of months that Scott Hall will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame on the eve of WrestleMania XXX at the New Orleans Arena the night before the WWE goes live from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome with their biggest show of the year, and his good friend Sean 'X-Pac' Waltman has reportedly confirmed it.

WWE Hall of Fame: Scott Hall tweets hints then denies induction

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, Waltman, also known as "Syxx" and the "1-2-3 Kid" during his WCW and WWE days, wrestled in the main event at Charro Mania Lucha Libre 2014 in Texas over the weekend and told fans that he'd be at WrestleMania XXX this year to induct Hall into the Hall of Fame the night before.

If Hall is inducted, he'll join a class that includes WWE Superstars The Ultimate Warrior and Jake "The Snake" Roberts, WWE Diva Lita and former WWE manager Paul Bearer as inductees to the Class of 2014 for the WWE's Hall of Fame.

WrestleMania XXX rumors: Triple threat match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship?

The rumors of Hall's induction started by the former New World Order member himself after he received a verified blue check on Twitter around the same time other WWE Hall of Fame inductees Jake "The Snake," The Ultimate Warrior and Lita had their accounts verified on the social media site.

"Me @JakeSnakeDDT and @AmyDumas [Lita] all verified at the same time. Hmmm....," Hall tweeted from his official @SCOTTHALLNWO account last month. "Add @UltimateWarrior to that same list...hmmm"

Hall, who launched his career with the WWE from 1992-96 under the "Razor Ramon" moniker and was a four-time Intercontinental Champion, went over to WCW in 1996 where he became one of the three original members of the NWO along with Hulk Hogan and good friend Kevin Nash. He returned to the WWE in 2002 along with Hogan and Nash as part of the NWO invading angle.

Hall then later sent out a series of tweets denying that he'd be in the Hall of Fame, possibly as a way to not spoil the surprise as the WWE had yet to reveal it.

"Merely an observation of the state of @verified accounts on @twitter. Nothing more..."

"ATTENTION: I've made no commitments to appear in New Orleans at this time. I'm a businessman and am welcoming offers. Thanks #BadGuy"

"Not sure I'd pass the popularity contest with the suits in Stamford, CT who make the decision..."

"Sorry...it's news to me. Not sure I'm popular enough in Stamford, CT"

"Not sure I'd pass the popularity contest in Stamford...#BROTHER"

Hall, who struggled with alcohol and drug problems throughout his life, is on the road to redemption after recovering through the use of DDP Yoga, and his recovery may come full circle if he is in fact inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
