Colorful talk show host Chelsea Handler has no use for disgraced and suspended New York Yankees infielder Alex Rodriguez.
According to the New York Daily News, Handler told Howard Stern that Rodriguez recently approached her and asked "Chelsea, why do you have to make fun of me all the time?"
Not moved in the least, Handler told Stern she responded "get away from me you're disgusting." She further claims she then added "you're gross."
Rodriguez, who is suspended for the entire upcoming season stemming from his role in the Biogenesis steroids scandal, reportedly quizzed Handler "why am I gross? We got off on the wrong foot. I read all of your books. I'm a big fan."
According to The Daily News, Handler claims she remained unfazed, adding "I go, 'I don't know why you're a big fan. I think you're a f---ing a--hole."'
Handler went on to tell Stern her dislike of Rodriguez stems from "just the way he conducts himself." She later referred to Rodriguez as a "buffoon," adding "he just sleeps around ... he is a pile of s---."
Rodriguez has indicated he hopes to return to baseball after sitting out this year and has no plans of retiring.
