Michael Bennett to Bears? Martellus ready for family reunion in Chicago? [VIDEO]

The Chicago Bears are expected to sign defensive end Michael Bennett in free agency this week, adding him to a roster that already features younger brother Martellus.

According to ProFootballTalk.com, team officials have confirmed they expect to formally ink Bennett once the free agency period officially opens early Tuesday evening.

Playing under the terms of a one-year, $5 million deal, the 28-year-old Bennett starred for the Super Bowl-winning Seattle Seahawks last year, finishing with 18 tackles and 8.5 sacks.

"You just got to stay tuned, man, like a suspenseful movie," Michael Bennett told ProFootballTalk of all the evolving developments. "I got to leave it suspenseful right now."

Martellus Bennett joined the Bears as a free agent last year, and has long been vocal about his desire to stage a family reunion in Chicago.

"It's a great argument," Michael Bennett told ProFootballTalk. "He got great points, but, man, I got to leave it suspenseful for the next couple of hours and go home and make the right decision. It's really hard, though. So many things play a key into the decision of where your future, where you're going to play at. But hey, I love my brother. He is one of the best tight ends in the league, so it's going to be hard."

"The No. 1 thing is family," Martellus said. "You're going to get paid wherever you get paid, but to be able to play ... this is history. Two brothers - I don't think there's ever been two brothers that played on the same team.
