The website is reporting rumors that Mayweather ordered a severe beating be brought down upon two employees who were hired to work on one of Floyd's Las Vegas homes, and are believed to have stolen from him. One source told TMZ, "It was some Breaking Bad s**t."
TMZ also reports the men have steadfastly denied any theft, and are now retaining legal representatives. The charges that could come against Mayweather include attempted murder, mayhem and kidnapping since he allegedly lured them to an off-site location where the beating occurred. Apparently these two employees were battered with multiple weapons, with clubs being specifically mentioned. Floyd's "Money Team" has not responded to the accusations.

This issue sounds extremely serious, and may cast his upcoming fight with Marcos Maidana into doubt. It also harkens back to darker days in Mayweather's career when he fought Miguel Cotto with the specter of prison time for domestic violence hovering over it.
Mayweather went to jail for three months soon after defeating Cotto, and since then has projected a cleaner, family-oriented image. This breaking news flies counter to that visage.
