Kordell Stewart's friends are emerging to offer details of what they describe as ex-wife Porsha Stewart's "shady side" and why they view the Real Housewives of Atlanta star as a gold-digger.
According to RadarOnline.com, Porsha Stewart "used" the former NFL veteran during their nearly three years of marriage and when the couple first met the reality TV star "claimed to have all these jobs and opportunities going on, but she really didn't. She didn't try to be independent from him and just wanted to be Kordell's wife - and now she's nobody."
Sources later added to Radar "she used him and took advantage of the situation in hopes that it would get her to the next level financially and professionally. Honestly, if she hadn't been married to Kordell, she would have never landed the Housewives gig because she had nothing else going for herself outside of him."
Several media outlets have long reported Porsha Stewart found out her husband had filed for divorce over Twitter. After a prolonged battle, largely based on the validity of a pre-nup agreement the two both signed, the couple became officially divorced last December, with Porsha Stewart walking away virtually empty-handed and with no assets or alimony.
As the two have continued to publicly bicker, Porsha Stewart has hinted that she now thinks her ex may be gay and there were times when he didn't seem attracted to her.
"The lack of truthfulness by Porsha during the divorce was very confusing and hurtful to Kordell," the source told Radar. "He's ready to move on and do what is best for he and his son."
