The Extra Point: This is one of the big two points that will be discussed in the owners meeting. Commissioner Goodell has expressed interest in changing the extra point, but to what extent? The rumored proposal is that all touchdowns will be seven points with no PAT. If the team chooses to go for the two point conversion they will gain a point or fall to six if they fail. Other options are moving the PAT to the 25-yard-line or making all PAT’s a play from scrimmage. The one will be passed, but what the new rule will be is the question.

Playoff Expansion: The playoffs are going to expand and it’s a matter of when they change. The playoffs are going to change to 14 total teams and seven from each conference. The number one seed will be the only team to get the first round bye and their will be six games on what was wildcard weekend. The debate that will happen is will in be in 2015 and will their be Monday night playoff games.

Officiating Changes: No changes are coming to the number of officials or the replay station that controls the leagues replay technology, but their could be addictions to replay. The rule change would be if Dean Blandino, the best name in officiating, will be allowed to directly make the right call on controversial calls. Also proposed is replay on personal fouls, blatant missed calls and basically every play in football with more replay cameras.

Other Rules Proposed:
The N-Word Penalty
Eliminating the 75-man Roster Period
Raising Active Roster to 49 on Non-game Days
Being Able to Open Retractable Roofs at Halftime
Eliminating Overtime in Preseason
