Chad Johnson estimates his chances at "Ocho Cinco" percent he'll play professional football next season.
Extramustard.SI.com is reporting that the former NFL wide receiver has been added to the Canadian Football League's Montreal Alouettes negotiation list, based on a tweet from the CFL on TSN.
Johnson tweeted that there's nothing to negotiate and he's in great shape. When asked in a tweet whether he intends to play, he responded that he was 85 percent sure he would sign with the Alouettes.

The 35-year-old Johnson last was seen in a New England Patriots uniform in 2011 after spending 10 years with the Cincinnati Bengals. He was a six-time Pro Bowler and two-time All Pro wide receiver who caught at least 50 passes for nine consecutive seasons.
Johnson's best season came in 2005 when he recorded 97 receptions for 1,458 yards and nine touchdowns.
Being placed on a CFL negotiation list isn't a significant accomplishment in itself, extramustard.si.com reports. Both Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel and Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson both were on the list last fall.
Johnson, however, appears serious about a return to professional football, and his interest in playing in the CFL could be instrumental in hammering out a contract with Montreal.
The report added that Johnson has all but closed the door on a return to the NFL, which is why he may be willing to sign in the CFL. But he also knows that if performs well for the Alouettes, it may serve as an audition to get back into the NFL.
