Today at 1:30 p.m. ET, No. 10 Stanford (27-6) and No. 7 New Mexico tipoff in 2014 NCAA March Madness tournament Round 2 action as part of the Southern bracket live from the Scottrade Center in St. Louis. The game can be live streamed for free here and could also be viewed on TBS. Stanford fans can hear all of the action on KZSU 90.1 while New Mexico fans can do the same on KKOB 770.

New Mexico has plenty of motivation as it looks to avenge a one-and-done trip to the tournament as a No.3 seed last year. The team comes in as the Mountain West tournament champions and will look to avenge a tough loss to Harvard last March.

''We figured someone was going to ask us,'' guard Kendall Williams told CBS Sports about their last tournament. ''You know, we talk about it all the time. It was a tough loss, but at the end of the day, everyone loses.

Williams was named all-Mountain West in consecutive seasons, becoming just the fourth player in school history to do so. Forward Cameron Bairstow, meanwhile, led the conference in scoring and is dangerous from the free throw line.

Stanford Cardinal makes its first NCAA appearance since 2008 and will be looking to make it count.

''I think every single minute will be important,'' said guard Chasson Randle, who leads the team with an 18.7-point average, according to CBS Sports. ''Every single possession, especially being on this type of stage."

Stanford coach Johnny Dawkins has high praise for Dwight Powell, who is second in scoring (14.2 points) and rebounding (6.9).

'I think Dwight Powell will have a long NBA career,'' Dawkins told CBS Sports. ''The way the NBA moved to more small ball, I think a lot of forwards are similar to him."

New Mexico looks to avoid another disappointment in the NCAA tournament while Stanford is hoping to advance when it makes its first March Madness appearance in six years when these teams hit the court today in St. Louis.
