CM Punk quits WWE [VIDEO]: Triple H offended that 'Best in the World' didn't want to wrestle him at WrestleMania 30?

CM Punk walked out on the WWE two months ago apparently due to being upset about his rumored WrestleMania XXX match with Triple H, and word backstage is that "The Game" is offended by Punk's reaction to potentially having a match with him.

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, there's a feeling within the company that Triple H was probably offended over the fact that Punk didn't want to wrestle him at WrestleMania XXX in less than two weeks at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans on April 6.

The feeling is that even if he won't admit it, Triple H is likely upset over the fact that Punk appeared disappointed to be facing him at the biggest show of the year.

WWE officials and Triple H himself see working with Triple H as a big deal since he was one of the more successful superstars in the business and doesn't wrestle that often anymore. While it was initially believed that Vince McMahon would be able to bring the "Best in the World" back, the feeling now is that Punk likely isn't returning and there is a negative feeling about the WWE making Punk a lot of money and in return Punk just walking out.

Punk stormed out on the WWE prior to the live telecast of Monday Night RAW on Jan. 27 on the night after the Royal Rumble pay-per-view. The quitting came after Punk was vocally frustrated with his role within the company and seemed to be growing more and more burned out.

Punk was upset over his match with Triple H as he wanted to main event WrestleMania XXX. With Punk admitting that he wouldn't be coming back once his contract expired in July, this year was presumably the last year he'd be able to headline the show. At the time of his departure, the plan was for Batista to face Randy Orton one-one-one for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the main event while Punk would wrestle Triple H.

With Punk gone, Daniel Bryan has taken his place in the match with Triple H with the caveat that the winner will go on to enter the main event and make it a triple threat match for the title. There was an internal feeling that Bryan being likely inserted in the main event was a "middle finger" to Punk for walking out as if to say it could be him getting the spot.

The WWE was upset at Punk for flying to Los Angeles last week and appearing on AMC's Talking Dead while he couldn't be bothered to come to the RAW episode March 3 from his hometown of Chicago to talk to officials about what's bothering him and work on a solution.

While the WWE has moved on with the thinking that Punk won't be returning, it is possible that Triple H is offended over the fact that Punk didn't want to wrestle him at WrestleMania XXX.
