UCLA Bruins to lose two key players to the NBA [VIDEO]

After losing to the Florida Gators in their Sweet Sixteen match-up, the UCLA Bruins will be losing two prized guards to this summer's NBA draft.

Sophomore guard Kyle Anderson was the first to declare his intention to join the draft, as his father told SNY.tv. The said website said Kyle Anderson Sr. will sit down with his son to 'sort things out.'

Earlier in the season, Anderson Sr. was quoted as saying: " Kyle is totally prepared mentally to come out. "He knows he'll have to get adjusted to the rigors and physicality of the NBA but mentally he's always been a little more mature than the average age he's at."

Anderson averaged 14.7 points, 8.7 rebounds and 6.5 assists this season for the Bruins. Nicknamed "Slow-Mo," the guard shot 48.3 percent from the three-point area, a significant improvement from the previous year's 21.1 clip.

Meanwhile, his teammate, freshman Zach LaVine will also forego the rest of his eligibility to join the NBA draft. The guard who averaged a shade under 10 points a game is projected to be a first round draft pick due to his athleticism and tremendous potential.

"They love him," his father Paul told LA Daily News, referring to NBA scouts' take on LaVine. "They're picturing him at 22."

While there are many skeptics expressing their concerns about LaVine's preparedness for the NBA, college basketball watchers say that part of his decision to turn pro could be due to questions on whether he'd develop at UCLA under coach Steve Alford.

Where would Anderson and LaVine end up in this year's NBA Draft? Tell us @SportsWN.
