Two clubs in opposite halves of the Liga MX table will do battle today in a league match between Toluca and the UANL Tigres. The first-division clash scheduled for 8 p.m. ET will be held at the Estadio Nemesio Díez in Toluca. Information on how and where to stream the match can be found here.
After a disappointing loss to Atalante in Cancun last weekend, Toluca manager Jose Cardozo acknowledged that his men played their worst match of the season (h/t to Goal). "We had so many chances, but we couldn't finish. We didn't hit the frame once," Cardozo said. "It was a bad game for us. We conceded some very simple goals," he added.
"The last time out, we beat Querétaro will much authority. Atalante are a good team. They have good players. Unfortunately, they are going through a bad time."
"A loss is never well received. We're going to talk to the players. We were very disjointed in the final third. We didn't execute what we had to execute."
