Lindsey Vonn eyes December ski return, walking Masters' holes with boyfriend Tiger Woods [VIDEO]

Lindsey Vonn is hoping to return to the slopes from her surgically repaired right knee injury sometime around Christmas, according to ESPN.com.

The four-time overall World cup champion and Olympic gold medalist sat out this year's Sochi Games recuperating from her second surgery in less than a year. She's hoping to begin training on snow by October.

Lindsey Vonn calls boyfriend Tiger Woods "dorky."

"I'm going to compete in the 2018 Olympics," said world top-golfer Tiger Wood's girlfriend."If I have to push the date back when I start, so be it. To ensure the next four years go smoothly, I have to give this meniscus some time to heal."

In between all her rehab work, the 29-year-old Vonn insist she is keeping plenty busy, enjoying such stress-free hobbies fly fishing with her dog, starting a new foundation and having coffee with skiing great Annemarie Moser-Proell, whose record of 62 race victories Vonn is chasing and is just three behind.

"The knee is coming along nicely," she told ESPN, though she readily admits she won't be attempting to walk every hole with Woods during the upcoming Masters as she's done before.

Lindsey Vonn says being with Tiger Woods brings out best in her

"We'll see how far I make it," she said. "With my meniscus the way it is, it's not great to be on my feet all the time."
