Chris Johnson next team: Titans release CJ2K; Jets, Jaguars best odds to sign him? [VIDEO]

Out goes one sweepstakes and in comes another as the Tennessee Titans have released running back Chris Johnson. The move saves the Titans in cap space, but what of Johnson? Who will be the team to land the former CJ2K?

New York Jets: The Jets are the first team to say they are interested in Johnson, but like every player in free agency, at the right price. Johnson would make the Jets' run-heavy backfield much better and bring the little star power he has left. Johnson is the fast paced back that could match well with Chris Ivory and take a ton of pressure off Michael Vick/Geno Smith.
Odds: 3-1

Atlanta Falcons: The Falcons have been searching for a new running back ever since Michael Turner started to show decline years ago. Steven Jackson hasn't been what Atlanta expected and even with Jackson, Johnson would be a great compliment to the veteran power back. The Falcons have said they aren't interested in CJ2K, but that doesn't mean anything until he signs. If the Falcons aren't interested, they should be.
Odds: 10-1

Jacksonville Jaguars: The Dolphins would have been my next choice before they went and signed Knowshon Moreno, but their Florida neighbors could use Johnson’s services as well. The Jaguars tried to bring Maurice Jones-Drew back before losing him to the Raiders, so they have interest in a running back. The Jags brought in Toby Gerhart to carry the workload of the backfield, but Gerhart has never had a backfield to himself. Johnson and Gerhart aren't the best combination, but it would be interesting to see the Jaguars use them both in some packages. Jacksonville could also be interested in taking a division rivals “franchise” player.
 Odds: 20-1

The field: Just like with DeSean Jackson and DeMarcus Ware before him, a unknown team will get in the race for Johnson’s services. The Dolphins, Giants, Buccaneers, Vikings and Browns could all be sleepers for Johnson’s services. a
 Odds: 2-1
