WrestleMania XXX predictions, preview, rumors and possible spoilers for Sunday

WrestleMania XI: WrestleMania XI received mixed reviews with Bam Bam Bigelow taking on the NFL's Lawrence Taylor in the main event as some dubbed it as a mediocre show and others believe that it saved the WWE. Bret Hart had a submission match with Bob Backlund at this pay-per-view in a contest he regarded as his worst match ever.

Owen Hart and his "mystery partner" Yokozuna defeated the Smokin' Gunns for the tag titles here. It was originally supposed to be Owen Hart and Jim Neidhardt winning the tag titles, however Neidhardt was released for no-showing events prior to WrestleMania XI.

WrestleMania XII: Shawn Michaels an Bret Hart hated each other in real life during their Iron Man Match, and after Michaels won the match and captured his first WWE Championship, he told referee Earl Hebner to get Hart out of the ring, saying, "Get that piece of sh-- out of my ring," so he could have "his moment."

Razor Ramon was supposed to face Goldust in the Hollywood Backlot Brawl, however after word got out that he signed a contract with WCW, the WWE kept him off of WrestleMania and switched him out for "Rowdy" Roddy Piper. Ramon lost the next month to Vader at In Your House before leaving for good.

WrestleMania 13: The original plans for this event called for Bret Hart to defeat Shawn Michaels in a WrestleMania 12 rematch, however Michaels claimed he suffered a knee injury and had to forfeit the title. Hart said he believed the injury was fake and that Michaels didn't want to drop the title to him. Hart ended up facing "Stone Cold" Steve Austin in a submission match that helped launch Austin's career while The Undertaker defeated Sid for the WWE Championship.

There was an urban legend that Sid pooped his pants during the main event against The Undertaker following the finishing Tombstone Piledriver, but the truth to that is unknown.

WrestleMania XIV: Shawn Michaels wrestled his final match for over four years at this event, dropping his WWE title to Steve Austin. Michaels wrestled with a legitimate back injury.

There was a mixed tag match featuring Sable and Marc Mero vs. Luna Vachon and Goldust during the event. It was said that Vachon was in charge of teaching Sable how to wrestle but had a tough time as Sable didn't want to take bumps. WWE management reportedly told Vachon that if Sable was injured during training or the match, Vachon would be fired.

WrestleMania XV: While advertising products during the live pay-per-view broadcast of WrestleMania XV, Michael Cole accidentally called Steve Austin the "new World Champion" before the main event even took place, giving away the ending to the main event.

WrestleMania 2000: The ending of the hardcore match didn't go as planned. Referee Tim White was supposed to start counting down Hardcore Holly's pin with two seconds remaining so that time ran out and Crash Holly ended up as champion, however after White started the count too early, Hardcore Holly won the match and the ending had to be changed. Gangrel was reportedly originally supposed to win the match but got hurt.

WrestleMania X-7: There have been reports that the Gimmick Battle Royal won by the Iron Sheik was originally supposed to be an April Fool's joke with this event taking place on April 1. The One Man Gang was supposed to appear under his Akeem gimmick, but he slimmed down and couldn't fit into the costume.

WrestleMania X-8: Hulk Hogan and The Rock stole the show at this event, but the match wasn't aired last as Chris Jericho and Triple H fought in the main event for the Undisputed WWE Championship. Triple H and Jericho both protested having to go on last and felt like the Hogan vs. Rock match should have been the main event.

Bret Hart reportedly turned down an invitation from Vince McMahon to be a special guest referee at this event.

WrestleMania XIX: Kurt Angle wrestled in the main event with a severe neck injury and wrestled the match anyway even though he was scheduled to have major surgery afterwards. Brock Lesnar nearly broke his neck while botching a Shooting Star Press at the event before winning his match. Angle said Lesnar was dazed and out of it even after winning the WWE Championship.

"Stone Cold' Steve Austin was hospitalized the night before the event but went out to wrestle The Rock anyway, in what would prove to be his final WWE match.

WrestleMania XX: Word leaked out that Brock Lesnar and Goldberg were both gearing up to leave the WWE when their match took place and they were heckled mercilessly by the Madison Square Garden crowd. Both men would later say that they didn't want to be performing that night and had no interest in their match.
