Final Four controversy: Top 20 bracket in billion dollar challenge has correct game, no champion; Forgetful man loses $100k [VIDEO]

The Billion Dollar Bracket Challenge is long over and, surprise, no one won the $1 billion, but the contest does have a second prize for the 20 highest scoring brackets in the challenge. The 20 best brackets would each receive a $100,000 payment which isn't bad considering how impossible the $1 billion challenge was. In a bittersweet turn of events a guy named Corey has a Top 20 bracket with both UConn and Kentucky in the final game, but Corey forgot to pick a winner.

Corey picked 11 of the Sweet 16 teams, seven of the Elite Eight and three of the Final Four, but since he didn't choose a champion he will receive $0, zilch, zippo, nada. Corey will drop out of the top 20 after tonight because their are at least 20 other brackets that will jump his bracket in the standings regardless of who wins the game tonight.

The tournament has been locked for weeks now and up until this past weekend, Corey could have rested easy knowing that his bracket still had a great chance of being in the top 20. After tonight Corey will drop out of the top 20 and will lose $100,000, but it could be worse. Corey could have been up for the $1 billion with no champion, right?
