NFL free agency 2014: AFC South team grades; Titans, Colts make strides toward contention; Texans stuck looking toward the draft [VIDEO]

Free agency is winding down and some teams have done better than others. Over the next week we will grade out how each team did overall, including their losses and their additions.

Sports World News NFL Mock Draft 5.0

Houston Texans
Key Additions:
Jerrell Powe, DT
Key Departures: Ben Tate, RB
Analysis: Texans did next to nothing in this free agency period. They brought in Ryan Fitzpatrick and traded Matt Schuab to Oakland. The loses outweigh the gains with Ben Tate and Antonio Smith moving onto other teams. The draft will make or break the Texans offseaosn, but it doesn't look good as of now.
Grade: F

Derek Carr Calls Himself "Absolute Best" and "Will Go Before Manziel"

Indianapolis Colts
Key Additions:
 Arthur Jones, DE
Key Departures: Antoine Bethea, S
Analysis: The Colts got much better and I’m split between Jones and Hakeem Nicks for their best addition. The Colts got a 3-4 DE and Nicks is a great No. 2 WR considering what they have had on the roster in recent seasons. Andrew Luck should be very happy with this offseason.
 Grade: B+

Jacksonville Jaguars
Key Additions:
 Chris Clemons, DE
Key Departures: Alex Mack, C
Analysis: I don’t like the Jaguars offseason as much as others. Sure they added some Gus Bradley friendly defensive pieces, but they did nothing on offense that makes me think they got better. MJD leaving and the Browns deciding to retain Mack are how I will remember the Jaguars offseason.
 Grade: C+

Donald Trump Wants To Keep Bills In Buffalo

Tennessee Titans
Key Additions:
 Wesley Woodyard, LB
Key Departures: Alterraun Verner, CB
Analysis: The Titans switched it up from 2013 in the sense they didn’t make a huge splash in free agency. Grabbing pieces that fir perfectly as opposed to the big names could pay dividends. The Titans are switching to the 3-4 so grabbing guys like Woodyard, Shaun Phillips and Al Woods will benefit the players that are learning the new system. The issue is that they might have spent too much money on the right fits.
 Grade: B
