Lance Armstrong doping update: Armstrong's latest attempt at repairing reputation through instructional bike videos? [VIDEO]

Lance Armstrong's latest comeback attempt is off to a less than rousing start.

Extramustard.si.com found a video the disgraced cyclist did for Outside Magazine that is a simple instructional video on how to change a flat tire on a bicycle

"With a blend of smugness and faux-humility, he spouts off phrases like 'doin' pretty good for a guy who just learned how to do this,' all part of his subtle play for all the American hearts he broke," extramustard.si.com wrote.

Perhaps the most puzzling part about the instructional video comes at the beginning when Armstrong introduces himself as a seven-time Tour de France winner, with a video graphic popping up that says, "Lance Armstrong 7-Time Tour de France champion.

The graphic then has an asterisk appear, and Armstrong replies with, "Hey, I didn't write this script."

Armstrong has done precious little to seek forgiveness in the court of public opinion since his confession to Oprah Winfrey in January of 2013 that he knowingly cheated by doping during his Tour de France victories.

Late last week, USA TODAY Sports reported that Armstrong gave up names and added new details about his doping practices when he had to answer questions under oath in a recent lawsuit. His testimony occurred in November but were made public Wednesday.

USA TODAY Sports obtained a copy of the transcript. When Armstrong was asked who provided him with performance-enhancing drugs, he gave up the names of four people in his entourage: trainer Pepi Marti, Dr. Pedro Ceyala, Dr. Luis Garcia del Moral and Dr. Michele Ferrari.

He added the names of masseuse Emma O'Reilly, bike mechanic Julien de Vriese and motorbike courier Philippe Maire as people who would deliver the drugs to him, and Armstrong also indicated that team manager Johan Bruyneel also participated in and assisted with Armstrong's PED use.

So he better have a lot more instructional videos lined up if he wants to get back into the good graces of the public. The friends and coworkers he betrayed may never budge.
