Two clubs in opposite halves of the Premier League table will do battle today in a league match between Manchester City and Sunderland. The first-division clash scheduled for 2:45 p.m. ET will be held at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester and can be live streamed here free.
After falling to Liverpool on the weekend, Manchester City now find themselves seven points behind the leader's pace. Despite the loss and the opportunity to control their own destiny, manager Manuel Pellegrini denies his men have surrendered the league title (h/t the Guardian). "No, the opportunity we lost [means that now] we don't depend on what we can do, of course," Pellegrini said. "But it was a tough game against Liverpool in their own stadium," he added.
"We didn't deserve to lose that game, but things happen. We continue with the same trust, and we'll do it till the end of the season. We still have two games in hand, and we hope we can win those six points."
"We must play very well, especially [against Sunderland]."
