Manchester United Transfer News: Javier Chicharito Hernandez 'Unhappy' in Manchester, returning to Liga MX and Chivas Guadalajara?

The power of instagram.

It's no secret that Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez has been unhappy with his recent form at Manchester United. This season, the Mexican forward has had minimal success, contributing just four goals in 20 appearances. Clearly, that pales in comparison to his first year with the Red Devils in 2010. Hernandez was able to notch 13 goals that season.

He's been a double-digit goalscorer for the club ever since...well, until now.

Suffering a dip in form, Hernandez has become a social media expert—habitually hinting at his unhappiness.

Earlier this season, he retweeted a Sky Sports News tweet linking him with a move to Tottenham Hotspur. That would be followed by an instagram post in which he wrote: "The time to speak about so many things will come."

On Thursday, Hernandez took to instagram yet again. This time, it was a trip down memory lane for the 25-year-old that has sparked the rumor mill. Given his social media history, a post celebrating his career with Chivas Guadalajara can easily be misconstrued as a desire to return to the club that saw him net 21 goals in 2009-10.

Is such a move, however, plausible?

Not exactly.

According to Goal, Hernandez has been told by manager David Moyes he can leave in the summer transfer window. Strong links have emerged, pinning the Mexican with a potential move to Atlètico Madrid. If rumor turns to reality, Hernandez will once again don the red and white stripes synonymous with his game.

It just won't be the red and white stripes of Chivas Guadalajara.
