WWE backstage news: Fandango dumps Summer Rae storyline rumors, 'King of Swing' Cesaro character changes [VIDEO]

Following up on the Fandango dumps Summer Rae storyline, WWE has kept Summer Rae off of Monday Night Raw and SmackDown as they prepare for her return. However, while rumors were circulating that Summer would be returning as a babyface, the Total Divas season 2 star will actually be coming back to WWE as a singles heel and will be pushed heavily by Vince McMahon and the WWE Creative team.

Also, according to WrestlingHeadlines.com via Lords of Pain, Summer Rae will not be returning to WWE until she finishes filming The Marine movie sequel that also stars The Miz. Even though the storyline was "Fandango dumps Summer Rae," it looks like the Total Divas star is doing just fine on her own.

Heels vs. Faces in WWE and TNA, do fans know the difference anymore?

In other WWE backstage news, Cesaro has already undergone huge character changes since winning the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania XXX and aligning himself with Paul Heyman. The next steps for Cesaro are giving the King of Swing new entrance music, which WWE is working on. In the meantime, The Wrestling Observer reports that having no theme music is a nice talking point for Paul Heyman and Cesaro in the meantime. Also, if anyone should win the Intercontinental Championship from Big at WWE Extreme Rules 2014, it should be Cesaro.

In another bit of WWE backstage news, Damien Sandow may have not been given much to do lately other than being knocked out by the Big Show on Monday Night Raw this week, but according to reports Sandow actually spent some of his time at night in New Orleans during WrestleMania XXX week handing out ten-dollar bills to homeless people in the area. Sandow did this without any cameras around because he was not seeking any publicity for his charitable gestures.

Usually Sandow likes to say "You're Welcome" has his catchphrase, and in this case I would like to say "Thank you" as that is a really great thing to see.
