Two clubs in opposite halves of the Premier League table will do battle today in a league match between Chelsea and Sunderland. The first-division clash scheduled for 12:30 p.m. ET will be held at Stamford Bridge in London and can be live streamed here free.
Thanks to a Manchester City draw on Wednesday, Chelsea's destiny is now in their own hands. Should the Blues win their remaining fixtures, they will return to the summit of English football. It won't, however, be their young talent that carries them there according to manager Jose Mourinho (h/t to the Mirror). "Young, talented, quick players are exciting for the club,'' the Portuguese told Chelsea magazine.
"They occupy defenders. They open up space, and they offer us something extra in games when we need to try to break down our opponents, but even if you have lots of very talented young boys, you still need to have players with experience, who understand every situation in the game because they have been there before and they know what to expect," he added.
"It is important to find the combination of youth and experience to bring the right mental balance to the pitch in every game, in every situation."
