Two clubs in opposite halves of the Liga MX table will do battle today in a league match between the Pumas of UNAM and Chivas Guadalajara. It's been more than two weeks since Ricardo La Volpe took command of Chivas Guadalajara. That has already taken the camp by surprise. A less conservative approach has reached the club according to defender Nestor Vidrio (h/t to ESPN Deportes). "At the end of the match against Monarcas, there was booing because people saw that we had purpose. People like that," he said.
"That kind of style makes you have more chances and opportunities. It changes your perspective to return to the limelight. What Ricardo asks of us is to have the ball because it's not the same style," he added.
