--Intercontental Champion Big E defeated Damien Sandow in a non-title match (which makes sense considering they are making a huge deal about the IC Title Tournament that now features Rob Van Dam vs. Bad News Barrett in the finals ahead of WWE Extreme Rules 2014)
--After the match, Jerry "The King" Lawler interviewed Big E backstage. Lawler asked Big E who he would rather face for the Intercontinental title at Extreme Rules, and Big E cut a funny post-match promo saying he would face the mailman or milk lady or El Torito or anyone else who gets in his way. Big E wants to face the best, despite his references to unlikely opponents.

--Kofi Kingston defeated Titus O'Neil in the second and final match taped for WWE Superstars. Not much to say here except it seems like Kofi Kingston always has one or two standout moments per year, usually at the Royal Rumble or in battle royals, and then he's immediately forgotten about and relegated to the background. Titus, meanwhile, hasn't done much since breaking off from Darren Young when The Prime Time Players disbanded, so we'll see what happens from here.
As for Big E, the Intercontinental Champion is poised for bigger and better things, and whether he wins and retains the title or loses the IC strap at Extreme Rules, he will continue to make waves in WWE. It's crazy to think how Big E used to be the muscle for Dolph Ziggler, and while Ziggler has cooled down considerably, Big E has risen above him in the WWE pecking order.
