Tonight at 9:30 p.m. ET, the St. Louis Blues and Chicago Blackhawks skate against each other in Game 4 of their Round 1 best-of-seven Stanley Cup Playoffs series live from the United Center in Chicago. The game can be live streamed for free here. St. Louis fans can hear all of the action on KMOX 1120 while Chicago fans can do the same on WGN 720.
St. Louis looks to bounce back from a Game 3 loss and take a commanding 3-1 series lead home to Missouri where they'd be able to win the series while Chicago hopes to build off of their home win in Game 3 and even this series up.
The Blues out-shot and out-hit the Blackhawks on Monday but couldn'tw in the game. Overall they were happy with their performance.
"We played fairly well, but not well enough to win the game," Alex Steen said per NHL.com. "That's the bottom line. We're not in this to play well. We're in this to win."
The Blackhawks went 0-for-4 on the power play in Game 3 and are 1-for-16 in the series.
"I think the power play hasn't been effective [for] either side," coach Joel Quenneville said via NHL.com. "I think both teams have been getting in lanes. I think our entries have been good. Outside of Game 2, I thought we got back [to] getting into the zone correctly. I just thought whether it's our shot selection or movement sometimes gets too predictable, but I still think the shots are what's going to create it all."
Defenseman Brent Seabrook is tied for the team lead with four points (2-2--4) but is suspended for two more games after his illegal hit on David Backes in Game 2.
Brandon Saad also has four points for the Blackhawks off of four helpers.
Vladimir Tarasenko had a goal in each of the first two games for the Blues for two points in the series while defenseman Kevin Shattenkirk paces the team with four points off of one tally and three helpers.
In net, Chicago turns to Corey Crawford while St. Louis will have Ryan Miller between the pipes.
The Blues look to take a 3-1 series lead while the Blackhawks hope to even up the series when the lights come on at the United Center tonight in Chicago for the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
