Tonight at 10:30 p.m. ET the Golden State Warriors will take their home court for Game 3 of their first round series with the Los Angeles Clippers, and try to regain their bearings after sustaining a 40-point beating in Game 2 that evened the series at one game apiece. The Warriors are banking on a raucous home crowd, which tends to be in full throat for every home game, but figures to be especially rowdy with the hated Clippers in town. "It's going to be a great environment," head coach Mark Jackson said. "But with that being said, they won't get a stop, they won't get a score, they won't make a free throw. We've got to do our part."

The key for Los Angeles was an increased effort defensively, hounding Golden State into turnovers while keeping star forward Blake Griffin on the court and out of foul trouble. "We realized that if we played our game and do the things that we worked on we'd be successful," Griffin said. "We play well when we're just playing free, so we're just going to try and achieve that."

After fouling out in just 19 minutes of play in the Game 1 loss, Griffin ripped the Warriors for 35 points and six rebounds in 30 minutes, while shooting 13-of-17 from the field. He seems unconcerned about his ability to maintain that level of play in a very hostile environment.

"It's going to be loud. It's going to be exciting. I think every basketball player loves playing in an environment like that," Griffin said. "We've played in places that are pretty loud before, especially in the playoffs. I've heard good things about the crowd and we're looking forward to it. Absolutely."
