Real Madrid Beats Barcelona For Second Time In A Week

Real Madrid took a 2-1 victory over rival Barcelona for the second time in five days. Madrid took the advantage after Sergio Ramos on a header off of a corner kick from Luka Modric in the 82nd minute of play.

Karim Benezma gave Madrid the early lead before Lionel Messi tied the match with Barca's first goal. After Ramos' game winner, Barcelona goal keeper Victor Valdes was sent off after the final whistle after receiving his second yellow card after arguing with officials.

Real Madrid continues to gain some ground on Barcelona as they now find themselves within 13 points behind the La Liga leading club with a total of 55 points. Barcelona leads with 68 points, followed by Atletico Madrid with 56.

Madrid took a 3-1 victory over Barcelona at Nou Camp on Tuesday. Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo scored the team's first two goals, with Raphael Varane scoring the third in the 68th minute.
