Michigan State surprised everyone with their Big Ten title last season, but now the question is can they do it again? The season starts now as the Spartans get ready to start their 2014 campaign with their spring game.
The question marks for the Spartans are on their defense and offensive line. Losing so many starters will definitely produce some growing pains early, but will the young talent be able to adapt and survive this Big Ten season.
According to the Big Ten Network, keep an eye out for the linebacker core and the new starters looking to make an impact early and often.
Keep an eye on youngsters Shane Jones and Jon Reschke on Saturday. Ed Davis figures to play a key role on the weak side. Chris Frey enrolled early and could be a factor, and keep an eye on Riley Bullough, Max’s brother, who is moving back to defense from offense.
