Ray Rice Fiancee Fight [VIDEO] Fallout: Plea Deal Agreed To, Ravens Star Will Avoid Jail Time For Atlantic City KO? [VIDEO]

Ray Rice could be eligible for a first-time offenders program that would keep him from serving any jail time stemming from the Feb. 15 incident where he allegedly punched his girlfriend at an Atlantic City casino, then dragged her motionless body into the hallway at the Revel Hotel.

The Baltimore Ravens' star running back pleaded not guilty on Thursday to assault charges and ABCNews.com reports a New Jersey County prosecutor will soon determine if Rice is actually allowed to enter the program. The website adds Rice has also been offered a plea bargain that would require him to seek anger management counseling, but again be able to avoid any jail time.

Ray Rice marries Janay Palmer

Rice and then-fiancee Janay Palmer are now married, and on Thursday walked into the courthouse hand-and hand, with the NFL star proclaiming he is now a "happy father and a happy husband."

Originally both parties were charged with assault in the Valantine Day's weekend incident, which also ended with Rice facing aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury charges. All charges against Palmer were ultimately dropped.

ABC News reports the couple were married one day after prosecutors indicted Rice on all the charges.

A six-year NFL veteran, Rice suffered his poorest season in five years in 2013, rushing for just 660 yards and four touchdowns after four straight seasons of at least 1,100 yards and five scores.
