James Young to Roc Nation Sports? Kentucky Shooter Projects as First Round Pick? [VIDEO]

Roc Nation Sports has signed on to represent Kentucky freshman star James Young, projected to be a first-round pick in June's NBA draft.

Launched by rap mogul and hip hop star Jay Z just over a year ago, in its short infancy Roc Nation has now already signed to rep such big-name stars as Kevin Durant, Robinson Cano, C C Sabathia, Geno Smith, Victor Cruz, Hakeem Nicks and the WNBA's Skylar Diggins.

Jabari Parker declares for draft

The 18-year-old, Flint. Mi. born Young averaged 14.3 points and 4.3 rebounds in the Wildcats' all- freshman starting lineup, bringing John Calipari within a UConn title-game loss of capturing the school's second title in just three seasons.

Along with teammate Julius Randle, who has also declared for the draft and is expected to be a lottery pick, Young was named to the Final Four NCAA All-Tournament team.

Celebrated as one of the deepest drafts in years, Young and Randle join a pool of freshmen stars that have made themselves eligible that also includes Duke's Jabari Parker, Arizona's Aaron Gordon, Syracuse's Tyler Ennis and Kansas' Joel Embiid and Andrew Wiggins.

Andrew Wiggins enters NBA draft

A recent poll of NBA general managers projects Parker (19 votes) as the overall top selection in the June 26 draft, followed by Jayhawk stars Embiid (8) and Wiggins (5). In garnering the Wayman Tisdale Award as the nation's best first-year player, Parker led the Blue Devils with averages of 19.1 points and 8.7 rebounds.
