Classicalite.com is reporting Russell Wilson's estranged and soon-to-be ex-wife may have had an affair with teammate Golden Tate, leading to Tate being essentially dropped by the Seattle Seahawks and Wilson filing for divorce.
The Super Bowl-winning quarterback recently announced he was divorcing wife Ashton Wilson and the website reports the reason could be her purported dalliances with Tate.

The Seahawks recently allowed Tate to walk, even though he has steadfastly denied the accusations of cheating with Wilson's wife. The veteran wideout recently signed a five-year, $31 million dollar deal with the Detroit Lions.
"Btw the ignorant minority of people, bloggers and whoever else spreading ridiculous rumors should cut it out," Tate recently tweeted. "It's absurd the stories that are being made up from whatever source. I strongly advise the ignorant folks blowing this situation up and spreading this rumors to shut the hell up."

Wilson and Tate composed a formidable tandem during the Seahawks' Super Bowl run, with Wilson completing 63.1 percent of his passes for 3,357 yards and 26 touchdowns and the 25-year-old Tate hauling in a career-high 64 catches for 898 yards and five touchdowns.
As the Seahwks navigated their 2013 playof push, the 25-year-old Wilson, who took Pepsi Rookie of the Year honors the year before, amassed 524 passing yards and seven touchdowns over three games, including the Seahawks XLVIII blowout win over Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos.
