Roc Nation Sports Agency founder and one-time Brooklyn Nets owner Jay Z was violently attacked by hip hop superstar wife Beyonce's youngster sister last week in a brazen beatdown that was captured on a hotel video surveillance system.
According to TMZ Sports, Solange Knowles landed at least three blows as she hailed a barrage of swings and kicks at her brother-in-law as the two rode down on an elevator, alongside Beyonce, while leaving a Met Gala event at the Standard Hotel in New York City's Meatpacking district.

Beyonce idly looked on and never physically got involved as a screaming Solange strikes several blows before being restrained by the superstar couple's security detail. At one point Jay grabs and holds Solange's foot as she again tries to kick him, but never attempts to strike or fight her off.
It's remains unclear what provoked the outbreak and the website adds the three eventually walked out of the hotel together, with Beyonce and a clearly still perturbed Solange going to one vehicle and Jay Z another.
It's been quite the year for the hip hop mogul, who after selling off his Nets shares formally launched Roc Nation, which in its first full year of operation has landed such high-profile clients as Kevin Durant, Robinson Cano, Geno Smith, Victor Cruz, C C Sabathia, Hakeem Nicks, Geno Smith and the WNBA's Skylar Diggins.
