Hip hop star Rihanna may have been at the center of the vicious attack on Roc Nation Sports agency founder Jay Z at the hands of wife Beyonce's younger sister, according to the New York Daily News.
The News reports, Solange Knowles launched into a tirade as the two rode down on an elevator together while leaving a Met Gala and after Jay informed all he planned to attend an after party Rihanna was throwing sans his wife.
"Why can't you go home?" witnesses told the newspaper Solange asked the one-time Brooklyn Nets minority owner, before turning to her sister and adding 'why does your husband need to go to the club right now?'"
The News adds tensions were already at a boil after two of Knowles' friends showed up at the Standard Hotel held event trying to get into the gala by claiming they were part of Jay's extended party.

"They wouldn't leave and kept name dropping Jay Z, a source told The News. "They were pretending they were guests of his."
Witnesses add the 27-year-old Knowles seemed to grow more dispirited when Jay admonished her "don't use my name." But after learning of Jay's post gala plans, Knowles reportedly grew more angry feisty, questioning her brother-in-law about his plans to the point a source claims he retorted "you're one to talk."
Hotel video footage shows Knowles landed at least three blows on Jay and trying to kick him several times, all while Beyonce looked on, before being restrained by security.
