NBA veteran and newly signed New York Knicks forward Lamar Odom was denied entrance into one of Hollywood's hotspot nightclubs Tuesday night because owners feared a confrontation between he and wife Khloe Kardashian, who was partying inside the club with rumored new boyfriend French Montana.
TMZ Sports reports Odom arrived at the Penthouse nightclub with several friends, but was stopped in his tracks by security, well aware Kardashian and Montana, who was billed as a special guest that night, were inside.
Sources tell the website Odom and his crew stood by for several minutes before leaving in stunned silence. Kardashian and Montana have now been dating for several weeks and in recent days have been spotted vacationing together in New York City, Las Vegas and Arizona.
The 29-year reality TV star filed for divorce from her NBA husband last December following a summer where he was arrested for DUI and spent a brief period in a drug treatment facility. At least three different women also emerged to claim they had engaged in affairs with the former NBA Sixth Man of the Year Award winner.

The 34-year-old Odom last played in the NBA with the Clippers in 2012-13, but recently signed on with the Knicks and Phil Jackson, who he won two titles playing under in L.A.
Initially, Odom vowed to win his wife back, but in recent weeks has kept a low-profile and avoided commenting on her budding relationship with Montana.
