Manchester United Transfer News: Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez Will Show His Qualities 'More Than Ever’ Under Louis Van Gaal?

The rumors surrounding Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez's exit from Old Trafford have been running rampant for months. The World Cup-bound Mexican has been linked with other European clubs, including Inter Milan, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.

Hernandez, however, displayed an emotional connection to Manchester United following the sacking of David Moyes (h/t to the Mirror). "I expressed myself when Sir Alex [Ferguson] was here, I was a player for Sir Alex Ferguson," said Hernandez.

"I'm going to be one of the players for Giggsy [Ryan Giggs]. You never know if he's going to stay next year or if we will bring in another manager, but if Giggsy stays or not, it's been unbelievable to play for him," he added.

"There are not enough words to describe it."

Fortunately for Hernandez, reports indicate Giggs will stay on, but not as manager. That will go to Louis van Gaal, whose appointment has been postponed as he prepares with the Netherlands ahead of the World Cup. He's given every indication it'll be worth the wait for a young attacking talent like Chicharito (h/t to the Guardian). "I think it's my philosophy [that makes me different from other coaches] because it binds players with my training, and in my career I have had a lot of players who are fascinated by that philosophy," van Gaal said.

"They find it nice to take part in it because it's attacking, technical and tactical. They can show their qualities more than ever," he added.

"The characteristics come back to my point on vision: You have to play as a team and not as individuals. That's why I'm always going back to the vision, then the team, and then which players fit in my system, a 1-4-3-3, because I'm always playing that."

"If a young player can do it, then I select him. If it's an older player, it doesn't bother me; it's not the most important factor. Age is not important."

With a new vision directing Manchester United, maybe leaving for another club isn't the best idea for Hernandez after all.
