New York Knicks Rumors: James Dolan Sabotaged Steve Kerr Deal? Phil Jackson Looking Like 'Broken Man' [VIDEO]

The first thing that came to many minds when Steve Kerr choose the Golden State Warriors over the New York Knicks was--How? It seemed as if the Knicks were a lock to grab Kerr, but somehow, someway they ended up whiffing on the can’t miss pick. As New York looks for answers, the question is if James Dolan had something to do with Kerr jumping ship last minute.

Many in the New York area and the writers who cover the Knicks believe that Dolan, not Phil Jackson, is to blame for the Knicks ongoing coaching search.

Reports have also surfaced of Jackson looking like a ‘broken man’ in the days following Kerr’s decision as he now broadens his search for the next coach. Rumors have tied names such as Derek Fisher and Mark Jackson to the job, but all are tied up in their own business at the moment. Fisher is heading into the Western Conference Finals with the Oklahoma City Thunder and Jackson resigned with ESPN to cover the Eastern Conference Finals.

If Dolan did in fact sabotage the Kerr deal, could it be long before Phil takes the coaching job himself or ends his connection with the Knicks before they even began.
