Tim Duncan's girlfriend Vanessa Macias has a message for NBA Hall of Famer and TNT analyst Charles Barkley.
Macias and several other women attending Monday night's Game 1 Western Conference Finals battle between the Spurs and Oklahoma City Thunder donned white t-shirts emblazoned with the message "Barkley Dont Know" after the bombastic analyst recently joked on air that given the area's hefty female population it would be a "gold mine for weight watchers."
With the TNT crew now in San Antonio broadcasting the first two games of the series, Barkley still hasn't backed down. Besides insisting he has no plans on apologizing, Barkley added "you know I'm joking. Some of you people don't like my sense of humor. Here's what I got to say. Turn off your damn television. I'm not gonna change."
The 33-year-old Macias and Duncan have now been dating for almost a year, following the All-Star forward's bitter breakup from wife Amy. Since then, Macias has been largely credited with lifting Duncan's spirits, including convincing him to invest in a new, far more stylish wardrobe then what had become accustomed for him.
After 11-years of marriage, Duncan and his former college sweetheart divorced in proceedings that became so bitter Amy Duncan publicly hinted that she now feels her NBA Hall of Fame ex might be gay. The 38-year-old Duncan countered by revealing in court he believes his wife was having an affair.
