Detroit Pistons star guard Brandon Jennings could soon be walking down the aisle, provided the woman he's rumored to be engaged with can quickly free herself from the domestic partnership she's reportedly legally entered into with another woman.
According to TMZ Sports, the 24-year-old Jennings and girlfriend Lashontae Heckard are rumored to be engaged, though the one-time video vixen can't legally wed anyone until she formally ends her union with a woman identified as Monique Blanton, with whom she's been legally tied to for the last six years.

Several media outlets also report court documents filed in L.A. County Superior Court reveal Heckard took Blanton's surname sometime back then, further adding that they've now been estranged from one another for the past three years.
In recent months, Jennings' love life has been a source of much controversy, as he recently split from hip hop star Teyana Taylor. Some have speculated the 23-year-old Island Def Jam artist may have been the woman behind the sex assault allegations recently lodged against San Francisco 49ers star quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

Perhaps distracted by all the drama, the fifth-year veteran guard struggled through his poorest shooting season (37 percent) since his rookie year (also 37 percent). Overall, he averaged just 16 points and eight assists for the underachieving Pistons, who ended the year at 29-53 and out of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
The Pistons acquired Jennings in a deal with the Milwaukee Bucks for guard Brandon Knight during the summer of 2013.
