Johnny Manziel has never been one to shy away from the spotlight, but now that he is in the NFL his movements are magnified. Manziel is catching heat from the media for going out and partying over Memorial Day Weekend and not studying his playbook.
Manziel was spotted with New England Patriots’ tight end and notorious party boy Rob Gronkowski among numerous others. Manziel posted a picture to his Instagram of himself and Gronkowski having a good time with numerous other people and then when he realized he was causing a stir he posted another picture firing back.
Yes, that is his Cleveland Browns playbook with the caption “Guess it's impossible to enjoy the weekend and study?”. Manziel had been quiet ever since being drafted by the Cleveland Browns as he settles into the NFL life, but who says the man can’t have a little fun? Manziel has a long way to go to be the player he was in college and as he enters his rookie season as a “backup” it is nice to see that he at least packing his playbook on his adventures.
Manziel is third on the Browns depth chart at the moment, but is fully expected to compete for the starting job against 2013 starter Brian Hoyer.
Wonder what odds you would've got on Manziel & Gronk going to Vegas together in the offseason? I'm going to say they'd have been short...
