GIANTS vs CARDINALS Watch FREE Live Stream Online & Listen: Live Coverage from ST. LOUIS

Tonight at 8:15 p.m. ET, the San Francisco Giants (34-19) and St. Louis Cardinals (29-24) clash at Busch Stadium in St. Louis for the opening contest of a four-game set. The game can be live streamed here. San Francisco fans can hear all of the action on KNBR 680 while St. Louis fans can do the same on KMOX 1120.

San Francisco embarks on a seven-game road trip after going 5-1 on its last homestand while St. Louis continues its seven-game homestand after losing two of three games to the New York Yankees to open it up.

Ryan Vogelsong (3-2, 3.20 ERA) takes the ball for the Giants while Jaime Garcia 1-0, 4.26 ERA) toes the rubber for the Cardinals.

These teams have combined to win three of the last four World Series and the Giants enter with the MLB's best record while the Cardinals have won nine of their last 13 games.

For Garcia, tonight's start is all about execution.

"I need to do a better job when I get ahead in the count. I need to be able to execute better with two strikes, especially," the southpaw told MLB.com.

Giants third baseman Pablo Sandoval has been red-hot as of late and has an eight-game RBI streak going entering tonight.

"Pablo's been the guy that's really come through for us," manager Bruce Bochy said via MLB.com. "The whole lineup we're getting contributions, but he seems like he's in such a good zone right now and he's the guy you want up there with men on base."

Sandoval is hitting just .246 this season with seven homers and 24 RBIs, but he's been coming up huge for San Francisco over the last week.

Matt Adams is set to return to the St. Louis lineup after being limited to pinch-hitting duty in Wednesday's game. Adams is fifth in the National League with a .325 average and is tied for fourth in the league with 63 hits. Cards infielder Matt Carpenter is fifth in the league with 36 runs scored.

Giants outfielder Hunter Pence -- who got his stolen scooter back Wednesday -- is tied for second in the NL with 40 runs scored.

The Giants and Cardinals take the field at Busch Stadium tonight for the opening game of a four-game set live from St. Louis.
