The third round and sixth day of the French Open is under way Friday and the remaining competition looks to move one step closer on the clay. The women's tournament has been very eventful thus far as Serena Williams and Li Na, the top two seeds, are eliminated. Lets look at the full slate for day five and the best matchup of the day.

Best Matchup: Maria Sharapova vs. Paula Ormaechea
Sharapova is the name to watch for the rest of the tournament as she tried to grab her second French Open championship in three years. Sharapova had 27 unforced errors in the second round and still managed to advance, but this will not do the job going forward. Sharapova has to step he game up if she wants to take advantage of a deteriorated field that has no Serena Williams, Li Na or Venus Williams.
Sharapova should right the ship Friday, but look for Ormaechea to give her best punch.
