For the first time in close to a decade the X Games will expand to a city it isn't accustomed to. Out goes the likes of Los Angeles and in comes the new city of Austin, Texas. This X Games plans to deliver on both excitement and surprises as many story lines will take off from the fantastic city of Austin.
Among the story lines their is history as Emma Gilmour will become the first woman to compete to race in RalleyCross as the rest of her competition is male.
"With rally driving, there are no physical limitations for a woman to not be as fast as a guy,” said Gimour.
Jamie Bestwick, 42, looks to win his ninth consecutive gold medal in the BMX Vert and is still the man to beat on the half pipe.
"If you think I'm just some old guy now who's at the twilight of his career and I'm just going to roll over ... no. Forget it.” said Bestwick.
Tonights events include the first round of the Men's Skateboard Vert, the BMX Vert Final and
