Jim Irsay's Driving Privileges Revoked For One Year By Indiana Court

Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay had his driver's license suspended for one year by a Hamilton [Ind.] County court. The suspension is scheduled to begin on May 27.

Irsay has been charged with two counts of misdemeanor driving. The charges stem from a March 16 arrest in Carmel.

According to police, the 54-year-old Irsay had $29,000 in cash and prescription drugs in his possession when he was arrested. After his arrest, the billionaire spent time in a treatment facility.

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has received criticism from several players for the way in which he has responded to Irsay's arrest, compared to the manner in which it has dealt with players under similar circumstances.
