Today at 3:00 p.m. ET, the Los Angeles Kings will celebrate their Stanley Cup victory with a parade down Figueroa Street to the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The parade can be live streamed for free here.

The Kings finished off the Rangers with a thrilling 3-2 double overtime victory Friday and after a weekend full of recovery and celebrations, the team will now take to the streets to share its triumph with the City of Angels.

Los Angeles had a tough route to its second Stanley Cup in three seasons, but at the end of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, the Kings were crowned champions and hoisted the best trophy in sports on their home ice for the second time in three springs.

The Kings made history on their way to the Cup this postseason, becoming the first team to ever win three Game 7s en route to the trophy and all three of those contests took place on the road.

The Kings bounced back from a 3-0 series deficit in Round 1 against the San Jose Sharks and then dug their way out of a 3-2 hole in Round 2 and ousted the Anaheim Ducks in seven games as well.

Los Angeles then knocked off the defending Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks in seven games in the Western Conference Finals to get back to the Cup Final for the first time since notching its first Cup in franchise history in 2012.

The Kings then faced off with the Rangers and won Games 1 and 2 in thrilling fashion with 3-2 overtime and 5-4 double overtime victories. Los Angeles then took Game 3 at Madison Square Garden 3-0 to put a stranglehold on the series before New York forced another trip to California with a 2-1 Game 4 triumph on Madison Square Garden ice.

The Kings and Rangers then went back-and-forth in Game 3 before Marian Gaborik notched his NHL postseason-leading 14th goal in the third period to tie the game before Alec Martinez netted the double overtime game-winner to give L.A. another Cup.

The Kings hoisted the Cup while Justin Williams (9-16--25) took home the Conn Smythe Trophy as postseason Most Valuable Player.

The party continues in Los Angeles as the Kings celebrate the Stanley Cup with a parade this afternoon.
