WWE Hall of Famer Pat Patterson revealed on the WWE Legends' House reality show on the WWE Network that he was gay and WWE Superstar Darren Young took to Twitter to comment on Patterson coming out after he did the same last August.

It had always been well known by many fans and personnel in tthe WWE that Patterson was a homosexual, but he publicly addressed it on the Season 1 finale of Legends' House on the WWE Network for the first time.
Young, who came out as the first openly gay active wrestler to TMZ in an interview last August, praised Patterson for his decision.

Patterson, 74, whose birth name is Pierre Clermont, lived in the Legends House with fellow former WWE personalities "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan, Tony Atlas, Howard Finkel, "Mean Gene" Okerlund, Jimmy Hart and "Hillbilly" Jim, and he revealed to them on the finale that aired last Thursday entitled Farewell Friends that he kept his secret for 50 years and was ready to reveal who he was.
Patterson said that he had a partner for 40 years who passed away due to a heart attack and Okerlund said on the show that he met Patterson's partner before his untimely passing.
Young, whose real name is Fred Rosser, came out last summer when TMZ asked him about whether or not the WWE could handle a wrestler being ultimately gay.
"Absolutely. Look at me. I'm a WWE Superstar and to be honest with you, I'll tell you right now I'm gay and I'm happy. Very happy," Young told the affiliate.
The WWE received a lot of mainstream press after Patterson made the announcement. There are tentative plans for Season 2 of Legends' House to air on the WWE Network but the cast and airdates have yet to be determined.
