Those catching Caroline Wozniacki on the rebound are not happy with what they're seeing.

Wozniacki, currently the No. 16 women's tennis player in the world but more recognized as the sympathetic figure in the power-couple breakup with golf star Rory McIlroy, has started to resurrect her game.
The former No. 1 player in the world reached the semifinals of the AEGON International in Eastbourne, England on Thursday, dispatching of Camila Giorgi of Italy 6-7 (7), 6-4, 6-2, as reported by tennis.com. It is just the third semifinals appearance of the year for Wozniacki, whose life has veered sharply from where she envisioned at the beginning of the year.
McIlroy proposed to Wozniacki on New Year's Eve, and she began to play the 2014 circuit as if she was more intent on becoming Mrs. Rory McIlroy than trying to find her way back to the No. 1 ranking she held in 2010 and 2011.
A knee injury and her announcement of wanting to start a family led to her slide down from No. 10 at the end of last season.
McIlroy then announced their breakup just prior to the French Open, and not surprisingly, Wozniacki lost in the first round to Yanina Wickmayer in straight sets.
But after spending time in Miami with Serena Williams to take her mind off her personal life, Wozniacki has come back strong with three straight wins. If the eighth-seeded Wozniacki beats fifth-seeded Angelique Kerber in today's semifinals, it will mark her first finals appearance in 2014.
The quarterfinals match between Wozniacki and Giorgi was entertaining in the fact that both got into arguments with the chair umpire and then Giorgi, who defeated Wozniacki at the U.S. Open last year, barely acknowledged Wozniacki during the post-match handshake. She last won an event in October of 2013 at the BGL BNP Paribas Luxemborg Open. She is the 2009 AEGON champion and suddenly can be a player that makes noise at Wimbledon if she continues to gain momentum.
