Despite losing his first set of the tournament, Rafael Nadal recovered and won three straight sets to advance in the other side of the mens bracket. Only No. 29 Guillermo Garcia-Lopez fell in the first round of the men’s side Tuesday while No. 7 Jelena Jankovic, No. 14 Sara Errani and No. 21 Roberta Vinci fell on the women’s side.
Day 3 of Wimbledon features the draw with Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray, Li Na and Caroline Wozniacki. Eyes will always be on Djokovic as he is the tournaments No. 1 seed despite losing to Nadal at the French Open. Djokovic faired better in his first match than Nadal did, but now he has to keep up the pace. On the women's side, Li Na has never advanced past the quarterfinals at Wimbledon and will have the cameras on her as she attempts to get out of the second round as the tournaments No. 2 seed.
