Kevin Love Trade Rumors: Timberwolves May Keep All-Star Forward? [VIDEO]

The Minnesota Timberwolves have reached another impasse over what they should do with All-Star power forward Kevin Love.

MassLive.com reported the Wolves are again strongly considering whether to hold on to the disgruntled Love past this week's NBA draft and perhaps into the regular season.

The 25-year-old Love, who can become a free agent after the 2014-2015 season, has strongly voiced his preference for being traded and has regularly hinted that after six seasons of not making the playoffs he plans to bolt the organization the first chance he gets.

MassLive.com added that all the Timberwolves' newly raised uncertainty could be an attempt to increase Love's trade value. Thus far, the Celtics, Bulls, Lakers, Suns and Warriors are rumored to have made overtures about the All-Star forward.

Several media outlets have reported Boston president Danny Ainge has been in constant contact with Timberwolves executives, trying to gauge what the team might deem a suitable package for acquiring Love.

Love recently visited Boston, where he spent time with star point guard Rajon Rondo. That visit fueled rumors the Celtics are among the teams Love would most like to play for next season. A native of California and UCLA alumnus, Love has has also made no secret of his fondness for the L.A. Lakers, the team he cheered for as a youth.
