Day 5 of Wimbledon served up its share of surprises as well as a potential disaster for one of the top players in the field.
The men’s side of the draw had a little scare early Friday as No. 1 Novak Djokovic went down with a shoulder injury when leading against Gilles Simon. Djokovic returned soon after and didn't look to miss a step as he rolled to a 6-4, 6-2, 6-4 victory. No. 3 Andy Murray also rolled through to the fourth round with a 6-2, 6-3, 6-2 win against Roberto Bautista Agut.
On the women’s side, No. 2 Li Na reverted to her old ways at Wimbledon and fell to B.Zahlavova Strycova in straight sets 7-6, 7-6.
Day 6 of the tournament will have us follow No. 2 Rafael Nadal, No. 4 Roger Federer and No. 1 Serena Williams as they attempt to make their way into the round of sixteen. Federer looks to continue his dominance in the tournament while Nadal is looking to win his first match in straight sets.
